Very nice planted tank. Perfect setting for some live discus feed. They'd have to hunt for it. Great job!

I can't get it to work. I can watch other stuff, just not the tank. Would you post a few pics? Thanks

Robert

Sorry blkrob for your problems for not being able to view. I posted some new pics on my personal fish tank page.

I also posted some pics in the Community Pictures and Albums page on this site.
This is my first Discus Tank and first formus site :). Ive had a fish and or plant tank experience since I was in High School in the mid 80's. I ordered some driftwood on the advice of MostlyDiscus and have been following alot of his advise on starting up this Planted/Discus Tank. Its the focal point in my basement/movie room :)

that looks great jon, really awesome looking. how do you do WC with all that in the way?

ive got a 55 gallon barrel in a back room that holds the water that I do for my changes. It is pumped in automatically when the float in my sump goes down to a certain level. I use a vacuum to start the WC to get the big stuff off the bottom, Then when Im done vacuuming I open a valve on the bottom of the tank to finish the WC. I have 10 Siemese Algae Eaters that do a great job of eating the food that drops to the ground and they also do a great job of cleaning the glass. I havent had to scrap the glass in six months. There are now a few spots that they dont hit for some reason. I will probably do a major trimming in a week or two. the 'grass' in the front is getting a bit long. I just dont want to stress out the guys too much. Im glad you like it. I love being able to check on them when I am out of the house.
