Saltwater tank switch to freshwater??

just wondering can you switch a saltwater tank into freshwater tank??? if you can... but is it healthy for the freshwater fish?????

There's no reason you can't. Just give everything a good cleaning. The only thing to watch for is calcium deposits as these would drive the pH of the freshwater higher

Yep, I did it and no problem. Lots of scrubbing and rinsing, and my tank looks great.....see for yourself........my 150.

I just did it too. took down my 75 gallon reef and set it up with 6 new wild green discus.

just clean and rinse the tank well and remove all the salt and coraline algae buildup and everything works fine.
