Just wondering what this little fellow is? Is he a little stunted?

Looks like a snake skin. Doesnt seem to me, to be stunted, going by his eye size in the pic.

I'd also lean towards a SS but the surefire way to find out is by the number of vertical bars. How many vertical black bars does the fish have?

To me he looks stunted but nothing you can't fix if you pump him up with food. His eye looks a little large for his body, IMO. I am picky though so you have to understand. :o
