Does anybody know what the results would be if a Yellow Faced Red Mellon cross with a Tangerine?

2 pigeon blood types will produce either majority pigeon bloods 75%/25% wild base color or they will produce 100% pigeon bloods. It will depend on how the mutant pigeon blood gene is carried in your adults.
There is another mutant gene carried by red melon we need to consider as well, that is the stripeless gene. (no pattern gene, call it what you will) This normally passes to the fry in around 50% of the progeny, but will depend on the grandparents genetic makeup so you should expect some variety here.
Color wise i tend to find red is not passed along easily, it is controlled by rigourous selection and will normally diminish in crosses with non red fish. Most likely they will tend more towards orange color with some red component.
