Pleco is very aggressive to my Discus

Over the past few days I've notice my Pleco (not norm one) is being really aggressive to my discus. He always chases them around the tank. Anyone have this problem with discus?

BN plecos would be the only one I would put in the tank. They dont really swim like others. They more so scoot around and i have never seen one chase a discus like i have seen others do.

When i was in penang i saw lots of plecos with discus, i asked about this rasping problem and i was told the rule: big catfish with little discus and little catfish with big discus. I don't know how well it works as i don't keep suckermouths with discus but might be worth a try.

ive had ottos twice in my tank and twice i had to remove them due to sucking. ive also kept a common pleco that also sucked on my discus. im keeping BNP now and they have not bothered my discus thus far

I kept 4 BN plecos with my discus, never had any problems with them. The only time they would come out and become the slightest aggressive is when I dropped algae wafers in the tank and they didn't want to share. I removed them the other day because I am raising my temps to 90 and I don't know if they could stand it or not. Commen plecos are probably one of the worst you could keep with fish. I have known some commons to actually kill smaller fish.

Just curious, what kind of pleco do you have?

Kind of like a L035 or 037 need to get it 100% id
