Woke up this morning with an incredible abdominal pain. No, it wasn't gas.

7 hours later I am home without my apendix. I'll be laid up for a week, so I'll be chit chatting quite a bit on here. Looking forward to the break! I feel much better though.

Have a great weekend all!

Hope you make a speedy recovery.

Wow - 7 hours in and out! I had my appendix removed almost 20 years ago, and it was a 5 day hospital stay. It's amazing how technology has progressed, although I'm sure alot of that has to do with insurance companies wanting to keep their own costs down.

Yikes. Wishing you a speedy recovery

That is pretty fast, being home the same day as surgery. I was in hospital several days after mine were whipped out.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that! I look like a BB gun attack victim. 4 BB size holes on the left side of my belly. They go in from the opposite side with their tools. I have one hole in my belly button. That one hurts the worst! I'll be back to my modeling career in no time. LOL! :p

You should see the surgery as it's being done... very cool. I've only seen gallbladders removed though... after they finish up your gallbladder actually gets pulled out through your 'belly-button'.. lol... :o

Guess that's why I like the med field... all of that gore is interesting to me! ;)

I think they pulled out my appendix through my belly button. That is the bigges hole and they tried to hide the scar.... like I sad, I'll be back to modeling in no time! LOL!
