white jellylike substance?

Not sure if this is an issue or not, so that it why I am posting this here, and not on the disease section. I have noticed from time to time that a few of my discus will excret a white jellylike substance. Sometime this jellylike substance is longer than the fish! What is this? Is it hex, intestinal lining, or is it nothing to worry about? I have not started treating with any meds at this time. As I stated before, this has happened before, and I just increase my water changes. Any ideas on what this is, or where to go from here?

There's not enough information here for me to make a guess. I recommend you post in the disease section with water stats, photos if you can, and full description. Be sure to include any changes. The experts can help you there. White feces are seldom, if ever, `nothing' so it's good to get it sorted.
