Hello everybody
I'm new here as well as to discus breeding
Two days ago i bought three adult discus and one of them has a lump i can not identify
could you help

It's about an aspirin size

Never seen anything like that. Do some research on tuberculosis in fish. Also do not come in contact with the water in the tank until you can verify that it is not TB.

Looks to me like a site injection injury. It's also VERY reminiscent of external gas bubble disease.

Thanks for your replies but i don't really think it's either of those reasons
I don't think the clinical picture fits the description of T.B or External Gas Bubble Disease.As to the injection i have no idea it's a possibility

Yes Hendri and the guy i bought him from said it's been there since he bought him as a juvenile about a year ago

If it has been there that long I would guess its a tumor....and probably benign.
