I am having some behavioral problems with one of my discus. I have decided to move him for the time being and then reintroduce him. I would like to put him in my 10 gallon quarantine tank. He is about 4-5 inches. Is this ok to leave him in there for about 3 weeks.

He's probably not going to be happy, but yes...he'll be fine provided you have an adequate cycled filter and good heater.
Have you considered using a wire partition in the main tank instead of removal?

Maybe you should keep him in the main tank like Al says , use a plastic cratle (like for fluorecent lite covers ) wall to separate , it might even be more prone to cure your behaviour problem when you reintroduce him . Plus is hard keeping the water quality on a 10 gallon tank.

I would only use the 10 for medicating/QT purposes. If it is to just seperate the fish, as others mentioned, wouldn't be a good idea.
