hi every body,
iam having a pair of discus wich had spowned twice but pleco ate the eggs
now i removed the pleco and other dicus in another tank and left the pair alone in a 55 galoon tank
i put black water by mistake in the breeding tank .

1- will the will give eggs again ?

2- does black water effect the pair ??

please advise me because iam not worried about the pair

If the conditions are right they probably will spawn again. I don't know what black water you are talking about so I can't advise you on that. You say you are not worried but if you are, you might do a wc.

Black water extract? That should not harm them.

If you're talking about Black Water Extract or water that's treated with peat moss etc it will be fine. Some people believe it helps induce spawning and peat moss lowers pH and softens water. Both good for breeding.
