Hi I have eggs laid in my wild discus, planted tank so I am thinking of setting up a 29 gallon breeder tank. What do I need for filiteration? I know I need a heater and a basic light. Thanks Ed

big horkin' "seeded" sponge filter. that's it. lotsa WCs and rinse the sponge gently once a week.

Maybe a cone, slanted slate, PVC or similar surface for the female to lay the eggs. I'd hate for them to use the heater. ;)

I am using breeding cone & pvc tube both works great,,,,even a clay flower pot could do.
