I recently (Sunday evening) treated a 90 gal tank containing 5 large adult and 3 semi-juvenile (3" plus) discus with pure prazi purchased from jehmco at the dose recommended on the medication - 1 teas per 25 gallons. I added the prazi because one of the juveniles had abnormal feces. All of the fish did not react well to the medication, however I have not changed the water yet. I did not repeat the treatment last night. I will do a large water change this evening and again tomorrow to remove most of the medication. One of the adults has developed white cysts much larger than ich scattered randomly on the body since the prazi was added to the tank. No others show any cysts at all. You could remove them with tweezers (idea of the size). Not sure what this could be. Any advice and/or suggestions?
Temp 85, no ammonia or nitrite readings. The 3 juveniles were added to the tank on Sat. but were quarantined for four weeks prior.
