I have heard some people say not to feed flake or pellets to adults.
I feed mainly frozen BW but thought Good quality flake would be a benefit for my older fish as well.
Is this correct or bad advice

I think you will find most people feed flake and/or pellets to their adult and juvenile discus. Mine love their flakes.

Mine love Ocean Nutrition Prime reef flake, color tetrabits, and Hikari's biogold pellets. They'll also force down New Life Spectrum pellets if they are really hungry! I also like to feed them all of Hikari's frozen food selection. They love the frozen plankton and BH from SF bay too, and Eddie's seafood mix.
I think it is good to incorporate one of those dry foods because of the vitamins and minerals supplemented in them and it is a balanced food.
Just my opinion though!:D
