I curious,
Where i live in the US mid west all oxygen providers that I have found require that you either buy the tank, depending on size ( $190 - $275 ) or lease for 5 years at $175.
Is it this way every where now days?
I remember years past when you gave a deposit for the tank and when finished a return got your deposit back or you could trade for a refilled tank and just pay for the oxygen.
What do you do in your area?

Personal preference, if I were shipping, would be breather bags.

Breather Bags and discus are a risky proposition if the Discus have any size to them...They may punch right thru IME..... If I had to I'd trust bag buddies and some good thick 4-6 ml bags doubled up over breather bags..Thats just me though...
Dave, In CT ......I do lease my tank on a yearly basis though and I bought the regulator.

What do you get charged for a years lease & what size tank is it?

Like brewmaster, no thks to breather bags for the same reason.
I triple bag 2-3 ml with paper lining in between for small fish, larger fish more.

Well, here's a thought....get yourself a used scuba tank (80cft) and fill it with pure oxygen at a place like www.fillexpress.com
At 0.35 a cf, to fill it up will be around $28, plus a good used tank around $100 with regulator. This will last you a long time. You will have to sign a disclaimer that the tank won't be used for human breathing. This place is where I always fill my tank for PCP (pre charged pneumatics) air rifle shooting. :D
