I was wondering if I could some expert opinions on assimilating new tank mates for discus(tetras, corys, rams, etc). I think it would be different from normal assimilation because it usually requires the new fish to become accustomed to very high temperatures which they are not used to.

Maybe we could get some real good opinions and then formulate them all into a well organized procedure that we can turn into a sticky.

I've got some Tetras, Rasboras and Corys in QT right now. They were at 79 at the LFS. The PH in QT is the same as the main tank. When I first put them in I raised the temp up only about 2 degrees. After 2 weeks I raised it up another 2. At the end of this week I'll raise it up to 84 to match the tank that they'll be going into when their QT is over.
