Hey guys, I am selling 4 of my discus fish right now! The reason why I sell them is because I have 2 fish tanks in my apartment, 1 55gallon and 1 75gallon! 7 fishs in my 75g and 4 fishs in my 55g. Today my landlord came in to fix my sink and he saw I have two tanks and he is pissed and told me that I can only have 1 tank in my apartment, so now I will keep my 75gallon tank and sell my 4 discus in my 55gallon! I have 1 Blue Diamond, 1 Checkerboard Pigeon, 1 HB White Butterfly Throwback and 1 HB Altum Flora, they are all 4"-4.5" with thick body, Health and active! $60 for each and $200 for all 4 fish! I really dont want to sell them to local fish store but at the end if no one interested, I still need to get rid off them! so please come to grab them and give them a nice place to stay! PM me if you are interested!

That blows, I am so sorry to hear the news. I'd buy them in an instant! You were growing them so well and they looked great! I feel your pain.

Time to buy your own house, and say bye bye (and good riddance) to renting and obnoxious landlords... I did that, and it feels great. mike:)

I have a 75 gal tank but I am working on my 150...but it stays in the garage. I think it's best to stay there since a giant tank like that in a tiny duplex def would freak a landlord out. Hopefully they won't mind so much it staying in the garage.... but then again my neighbor has a million pets also and had a 5 ft boa in their garage. Who knows, I even went to extremes of thinking to use broken down boxes and taping it on the tank, "oh it's something boxed up that I never got around to unpacking". Mind you the tank itself is 6ft tall and 6 ft wide lol.

Sorry to hear that...trade in the 2 tanks for a bigger one. 125gal aren't that expensive and is not too heavy.

That does sound like a great idea, then you could keep all your gems!

BTW.. where are you located? I just saw a used 125gal on CL yesterday for $100. Add another $25 for a DIY stand. I am sure you can recoupe that selling your 2 tanks.
