Pat,

What are you trying to kill?

Best wishes!

I was going to post a question like this as well since it's been many months since I've added plants.

What kind of quarantine procedures should be done, or is there quick dip method to rid it of any undesireables?

Anything that would kill my discus.
Im wanting to know quarantine procedures as well or if I can dip them (prefered). I am wanting to put an amazon sword in my tank but my 12 gallon qt is neither tall enough nor does it have bright enough lights to sustain the plant for 6 weeks during qt.

try using carbonated water, not fruits in it, just plain carbonated water, like Perrier. Dip your plant in it for about 20sec, it should kill pretty much anything, that would be harmful. Its not full proof, but it is an "earth friendly" way for plants.
