Has anyone here used Cerium Oxide to polish out the haze in their aquarium glass? If so, how well did it work? Is it hazardous to fish?
I have my 135 down for cleaning. I have cleaned everything very throughly with vinegar. I even used a razor blade to scrape the glass clean, but I still have a haze on the glass that is really bugging me. I know most of the haze will disappear when refilled with water but I would really like to get the glass (at least the front) as clean as possible before setting it back up. After cleaning I was going to use chlorox to disinfect it.
Do any of you know of other glass polishes other than Cerium Oxide that will polish out the haze that is aquarium safe? Thanks for the help everyone! :)
