View Full Version : Cloudy eyes after quick cure treatment...

My discus looks so much better after this treatment...I only see one tiny white spot on him....
However...he has cloudy eyes now:mad:
I did a 75% water change today...anyone have any input on his cloudy eyes?
Also...whats the difference between usuing aquarium salt and epson salt?
I know...I hijacked my thread...

IME, cloudy eyes were always cleared up with increased wcs. i understand epsom salt is used to help with constipation/bloat. But other than the exception of hatching bbs, i seldom use salt with my discus. So, rather than me try to explain my understanding of salts, have a look here:

i recall this discussion several times, you can probably find a lot of threads about the use of salts.

epsom salt is magnesium sulphate, normal salt is what you put on your chippies...;)

Glad to hear the Quick Cure worked out. You need to up the water changes as mentioned and monitor the water parameters. The cloudy eye will go away. ;)
