I was wondering just how often Two female get togather and spawn. I have a group of 4 Flamingos and they have been pairing off and have spawned twice now. First time I think male eat them as soon as female laid them. This time a pair has formed on one side of tank, but when there tubes where out they looked like to females. I only seen one lay eggs and other had a slightly pointer tube, but really not sure. The one I think is female was defending the area very well wile the other stayed put fanning the eggs. They are still fanning them today. They spawned 4/19/09 and I check under a microscope today and didn't really see anything, but didn't really know what to look for eather. alot have turned white, but many are still not yet.

I am calling people that go throught or have gone throught this. I am in no hurry, but just want some info.

Here is the group and when they first spawning happened

Not sure I got it off a breeder in Chicago with a pair I got. It is very interesting I am with you on that one. Its hard to see eggs on it so I don't use it much.
