I use Omega One foods, Super Color, Regular, and Algae flakes. I also use ocean nutrition formula one (small) pellets per Al's (Brewmaster) advice but I still haven't got them eating the stuff.

Machine, try Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flakes. they are suuuuper bomb dude. the discus kill those flakes unlike any other flake food. give them a shot. once you buy them and read the ingredients, see the actual flakes, and watch them get devoured youll see why! :D;)

Ocean Nutrition Discus Flake, Formula One and Brine Shrimp Plus are also very good. Don't buy the Prime Reef.....save it for me, LOL. :D

Another good flake is from AngelPlus, High Pro-Growth. Its very cheap and super good IMO.

Let's work on the labels Eddie, lol

Trying to find suitable replacements for your recipe. Tuna and Salmon are WAY too pricey over here. Maybe something I can catch myself. Could Yellow tail Snapper, Dorado(Dolphin fish) Marlin, be used? Trigger fish are abundant here too. Instead of shrimp I might get some Spiney lobster from fisherman ;)
I won't give up on BH as my base "meal", I get it at under $2 per heart and they love it. Just looking for adding to the diet:D

Hey Ed, I think most seafood can be replaced. Dorado or Marlin, man that must be nice. We catch Dorado here also, lots. I'm sure it would perfect.

Eddie, how about using frozen tuna and wild salmon? They are flash frozen right after being caught. Much cheaper than the fresh. What do you think?

The wild salmon is from the sea, just not farm raised, and is much healthier for us than the farm raised. I think I will try the frz. tuna and salmon. WalMart sells both in bags in their fish dept. Thanks

Great, I'll inquire about it and lobster at the fishing village next time or plan a fishing trip...:D After all I just want it to supplement their diet
