Slimey Stuff hanging off fins

I have an angel fish in with my discus. He has had what looks like little tufts of cotton on his fins for a couple weeks now. Then it started to look like cobwebs on them. I tried treating with melafix, pimafix unsuccessfully. The LFS suggested that I use "first choice" (active ingredients:kanmycin sulfate and nitrofurazone). So far it looks like it is getting worse with this medicine. There is also a clear mucus looking stuff in the tank, with little white bubbles stuck to it. One of the discus has a few white specks on his tail. I'm freaking out! Heeeeelp! :confused:

Be aware, when treating fish, it does not always get better right away. Now that you have started the Kana, you need to complete the treatment. Worse thing you can do is start and antibiotic and cut the course early.
