Not that I am trying to breed discus, but after being together for over a year, the two browns finally paired and laid eggs for the first time. Of course, they ate the eggs. I wonder how long these two will stay paired. The wild male paired off with one of Pigeon Blood shortly after it arrived and spawned in my display tank countless times. But this time, he went with the wild brown female. Go figure ...
Hypothetically speaking, if I bred these two and successfully raise their fry, would there be demand for the fry? The male is huge at 6"+ SL and the female is pretty big at 5"+ SL. One in the front is the male.

Pic of the female PB that the WB male spawned with several times. She is bigger than the WB female. Close to 6" SL.
