Plant Fetilizer

Does anyone use powder fertilizer's in there planted tanks, rather then
store bought Seacham brands etc. as they are expensive here in Canada. If so, what types do you use and at what % per gallon. I've heard hydroponic stores carry "some" however the people i spoke to hear don't seem to know anything unless they have a specific name. Any info would be great.

I do the EI method as described in detail on the barr report site.

Do you know BC Aquaria? If not google it as I can't post the link here. You'll find good information about your LFS from fellow canuck there.

We get our ferts from Solar Hydrophonics in Burnaby(http://www.solarhydroponics.com/), as a BCA member you'll get 15% discount just tell them that you are a member not sure if they ship though.

If not.... sign up on BC Aquaria and pm thatplantguy, he ships ferts all over BC. I got my 1st ferts from him.

You'll need KNO3, KH2PO4, Trace Elements & Iron Supplement. That's what I use.
