Wasn't sure if this should be in diseases or water. Since my fish don't look sick then I thought here would be better. I unplug my HOB's when I feed my fish. Both or one or the other just depending on where the food lands. I've noticed lately that when I plug my HOB's back in after being off for 20 minutes or more. Thread like worms start shimmying around my tank. I've been wondering where these guys have been coming from since I do fairly frequent WC's. (Yesterday 100%) Are these harmless or should I bleach out my HOB's? If I need to bleach out my HOB's then I can only do one at a time because I don't have substrate any more and I wouldn't want my nitrites to crash. Any suggestions people?

Well, awesome one, those are probably stylaria and live in your filter media...run your filter in a bucket of clean dechlored(whatever u use) water and yank it out when they come out of their hiding places...:bandana:
