Hi All
As some will have seen in my spawning video of the Tefe, the spawning was carried out upside down. This looked to be a most bizzare event and can only assume that this is instinctive to the Wilds, as it makes it difficult for predators. I have placed slate & breeding cones but all ignored. admitedly it is a semi planted enviroment and now assume that this must be instinctive behaviour, Also the colour change in behavior and courtship was amazing.
The male going almost black with the heavy Mucus and the female an Orange glow both showing a bluish hue.
Of all the Discus I have kept ovr the past 50 years these without doubt have been the most amazing to have in my possesion.
