Anyone ever hear of the TV show Aqua Kids?? www.aquakids.tv (http://www.aquakids.tv) is their website. Reason I ask is because they are coming down to the lab on May 19 to shoot an episode there. I might be in it, which is why im asking the question....who the heck are they? If im in it, it'll probably be in the form of showing them how to seine a pond, then helping/watching them do it themselves. All I know is that this week is hell week down at the lab. Everyone is in a frantic frenzy cleaning everything. All the vats are being scrubbed, field/ponds being mowed, etc. I dont think the farm has ever been this clean looking even when it was new, LOL. Oh well, I guess i'll have to wait and see how things go.

let's not get silly now...:D
I've catched it ocassionally on the weekends and it's basically as Roxanne put it. They'll ask a few questions not just on the animals but on the upkeep, maintenence and your position and how it relates to you. They like to do some things too:D.
I'll watch it if your in it;)

You'll be fine. Just have fun. A few years back I worked on some TV shows/commercials with our school horses. Film crews only think about their shot not if animals will spook if they pop open reflectors etc. so if you have any birds or other animals that don't like sudden movement I'd keep an eye on them. Now start working on that Emmy acceptance speach.:D

They came, they went, it was fun. They first went out with our in house invasive species specialist, Jeff Hill on his new shock boat. They went into a local area and shocked for some fish (I think they got some plecos, tilapia and a few natives). Then they came back to the actual farm and helped us stock out 2 day old goldfish (spawning study using new hormone techniques). My buddy Josh was the lucky one to go into the pond to actually stock the fry, the kids just handed him buckets of fish. For the past several days we have had a ton of rain....today was no different. They were doubtful that we would get to siene a pond today or not, and because of that I didnt bother to bring any change of clothes. Well after they got all of that done the rain let up a bit and guess what, they had enough time to shoot us siening a pond. Unfortunetly because I didnt want to stay wet the rest of the day (due to me not having any dry clothes) Josh and Christina went into the pond to get siene for some koi. I think from there they went inside with Roy Yanong and he showed them the diagnostic lab and did some things with them. No idea on the actual date the episode is set to release...when I find out i'll let everyone know.
