The discus have landed. Made it to the fedex site and I'm probably lucky I didn't get a ticket. I tell you, I haven't been this excited since my first "date". Got em home and everything in the box looked good. Only minor leakage from one bag. Fish were bagged up excellently, triple bagged, newspaper between the first and second bag (my guess is for reading material on the long flight) and water was at 82 deg. Worst part about the unpacking was that Al used clear packing tape to make sure the rubber bands didn't come off. Made sense but was a pain as it slowed me down ;). Floated the bags for about a half hour to equalize the temp and pulled them out by hand. I measured them as I put them in the tank and they ranged from 2 7/8 to 3 1/8 inches. Beautiful fish and seem to be settling in nicely. And now, for the pics.
Here's their home before putting them in.

More later.
Again, a very big thankyou to Al for organizing this challenge and allowing me to be a part of it, the SD team and last but not least to Kenny and Forrest for supplying such fantastic fish.
And finally, good luck to all the contestants.
Let the games begin.
