I have a question I bought 5 new discus in a QT. anyways one the discus it being a bully any ideas to make them all get along.

Ohh yeah i got the fish on Friday so it been less then a week...

Give it time they will figure it out..Are they all about the same size?

Since they are all about the same size, I would not worry too much. After a week or so bullying will taper down since the pecking order should be established by than.

If it's only one bully and he/she is an equal opportunity abuser, let it be. The abuse gets spread evenly and everything will be OK.

If several are picking on the weakest, then you have a problem. The weakest will die, and then another victim will be found.

In this case, you need to disrupt the "pack" by removing one or more stronger members for a while, and re-introducing them to a re-arranged tank. In this way, the strongest ones become the "New guy" and will be off balance - at least for a while.
