Your dogs look like Italian Greyhounds. Here are some pictures of my dogs. I got them separately, but they both come from rescue groups. They think the black one is a Manchester terrier and the spotted one is a cross between a Terrier and an Australian Cattle Dog. As you can see they like to wrestle all the time.

Kirk- They are Italian Greyhounds, as Jerry mentioned. Alot of people like to guess whippet or think they are baby full size greyhounds, but they are neither one and this is as big as they get. :)

Jerry, you have some unique looking pups there, they look like they are really happy and enjoy each other's company! Two out of three of ours were also rescues, and then of course the foster is/will be a rescue as well.

MSD- I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures, they do have quite some expressions sometimes, although in the one I think you're referring to I don't know why they look so sad! :)

Thanks for the compliments Francis, do you have any pets besides your discus??

Loved the pics of your furry kids, especially of the two cuddling together, Oliver and Carlile. Beautiful furry kitties, too! We have 3 Dobermanns, all are rescues -- Duke, Duchess and Daisy. They are the most lovable, kissiest dogs I've ever had. We adopted Duke at 10 mos. old, and the girls, Duchess and Daisy, at about 8-9 mos. old. Duke will be 3 yrs. in October, the girls will be 2 yrs. in October. I'm away right now so can't post their pics, but when I get home I'll add them. We also have a cat and of course, my Discus.

As you wish Francis! Everyone has such great looking dogs! Here are my 3. All they know how to do is sleep.:sleeping3::sleeping3::sleeping3:

The first two are pugs and the last one is a basset hound.
The first one is Zoie. The second one is Odie and the last one is Belle. Belle is a little bigger now then in that picture.

I forgot you had an IG Sue! How old is he? There are many IG's in rescue right now, in fact the one we work closest with, whom we are fostering for is actually full and looking for several more foster homes. I'd suggest the one we are fostering however, I'm not sure he'd get along well with your already established male. On the other hand he gets along fine with our 3 males. So you never know. It all depends on personality of the dogs.

Gino is 4...it is an approximation. He was around 2 when we got him according to his teeth at his vet check-up. He is not the dominant dog here; our Yorkie female is. (7 years old) Gino is my baby, he follows me everywhere and sits beside me every time I sit down. Ginger is more my husband's dog. She is more aloof and not affectionate like Gino. He loves all other dogs when he gets a chance to be around one.

Gino is kind of accident prone. He likes to chase rabbits, squirrels, cats, deer...and he strains his once broken leg. (broken before we got him, and he had some previously broken ribs too) He also trips up the stairs hurts himself sometimes (because he tries to go 90 miles an hour everywhere he goes) LOL The night before last he chased a deer and tore up his pads on one front and one back foot and got a couple of cuts on his front legs. He is just an accident looking for a place to happen. LOL Poor guy.

That must be a favorite window to look out of! :)

Gino looks quite handsome. They certainly can be quite clingy at times. Ours all have their moments too. Rocky sounds a bit like Gino, likes to sit by you when you're sitting down, although he has lately branched out a bit and found other places to lay. He loves kids and other dogs. Alot of IG's don't like kids much so he's unique in that. He's really alot of fun. He loves being outdoors and going on walks and such. Fortunately, he's not as accident prone as Gino sounds. ;)

Gino loves kids and loves walks. He is super obedient, I don't need a leash (but I use one anyway because it's the law and because he may see a deer and run in front of a car) but he stops when I say stop and waits for me, he never gets more that a step or two ahead of me and he turns his head around checks out my expression constantly. He is clingy/needy, but I love that about him. He sits and lays down on command. He can take our 21 steps in 4 strides...98 percent of the time he makes it...it's those other 2% that aren't pretty. LOL He is the love of my life, my favorite dog of all time. It must be awesome having 4 IG's. Thanks for sharing your pics. I may check out a rescue and see if I can find him a brother or sister.

Most times, having that many is good, they play and snuggle together. But other times it can be a handful. And we'll be glad to get back to 3 when Rocky finds his forever home, eventhough he's a very easy keeper.

Would you come train ours?! Sounds like Gino is a well behaved guy which is great. Our 3 are all still pretty young, Oliver is 1.5, Schroeder is 15 months and Carlile is 14 months. Oliver and Carlile were rescues, Oliver came from an abusive home and we got him at 7 months. Carlile was a puppy mill/pet store reject (the store the broker was going to sell him to didn't have room or some such thing) and we adopted him at supposedly 9 weeks but we think he was more like 7 weeks. But we love them all none the less. :)

I know there are a few IG specific rescues in the area, let me know and I can at least send you links to their websites.

Awww, Sue, I remember when you rescued him and the circumstances. He is a lucky lil guy, and you too, to have him. Do it, check out the rescues to get him a sister to play with. You won't regret it. That's what we did with Duke, our Dobe. We went to adopt a female Dobe so he'd have another to wrestle and run and play with and ended up taking both females, sisters/littermates cause we couldn't leave one behind. suckers... lol! But they have a total blast together, and get exercise we couldn't possibly give them ourselves, LOL!!!

I think that's the only time I've ever caught them sleeping on the stairs. We were upstairs painting so had gated them out of the area. It was getting late and I guess they thought it was bedtime, so got as close to us as they could and went to sleep.

I like how they color coordinated and are all in a very similar body position. :)

No, I'm home now Francis. Here's Duke in Princess' bed (RIP Princess 7.8.08). The next is Duke on our deck. After that is a picture of Princess, our Border Collie/Shepard mix. Next is a picture of Wolf, our White Shepard (RIP 4/21/07). Last is a picture of Daisy (formerly Sadie) on adoption day (its a crummy phone pic though). I'm looking for more pics of Duke and the girls, Duchess and Daisy. I'll post when I find them.

Here's some more - Duke on the left with Daisy and Duchess on adoption day at 8 mos. old in July 2008. This shot was after we made an 8-1/2 hr. drive to Columbus, Ohio to pick them up; another of Duke; Duke again, on his adoption day at 10 mos. old in Aug. of 2007; Doberman Wrestlemania with the girls and Duke ready to jump in; and a picture of Duchess (formerly Regan) on her adoption day. The girls are littermates and were adopted at the same time. Who could leave Duchess behind? Just look at that face!

I have more pics, current ones, but I can't find them on the stupid computer. It's late so I'll look for them tomorrow.

Yeah I love her, she would go well where you are too certainly has enough fur to deal with your winters! But they are very very protective you cannot have them in an area where friends and neighbours just drop by for a cuppa they will bite. Anythng in their area is theirs and it is a no go zone for strangers, human or animal.

She is 8 months old now and runs the house.....she is truly an amazing dog. We now have 2 kids in college and the first daughter just leaving has been really hard...I don't know what we would do with out her!!!

Dogs own the house, we just are allowed to visit after work and use parts of the bed :)

Jayme, the only female:

The smallest, Dallas:

Hugo fit in the palm of my hand when we brought him home:

Of course, carpet with 1/2 in pad is not comfortable enough, so they like to hang out on the bed while we get ready for work.

This is our new puppy, we call her Bally! We bought her to replace our poor Honey Bear that died last month. Like many people do with this breed, we wanted to give her a Turkish name so we named her Bal Ayi which is Turkish for Honey Bear.:)

She will be working with the goat herd but for now, as you can see, Rochelle has other ideas!;)

Not sure I ever posted here, oh well might as well now!

Older pics but i have 3. First the German Shepherd Mix. The old man of the group, named "Shadow" because he's a sissy and won't let you out of his sight. Great dog though.

Next is the Black Lab "DD". Named DD originally for Dumb Dog, but has since stuck. She fell into the pool the first day we brought her home.

And lastly a small who knows what mix lol we suspect Boxer and something name is "Taco". Most hyperactive dog i've ever seen, ever. Named after my brother's TACOma truck.
