Sorry for the pictures being so bright. Also I just realized the big drip mark down the glass. I usually keep it looking crystal clear ; )

Thanks Chris, I really like that piece of driftwood, too. I'm still figuring out how to keep the java moss well trimmed but i'm getting better at it.

No discus yet! But it is only a matter of time. I'm actually hoping to pick up a nice peneng eruption from Chris at windycitydiscus this weekend. And then when I get the money together i'll do a nice order from Kenny and get this tank where I want it. I always laugh when I realize that Seinfeld picture is hanging right above my fish tank! Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks so much I always appreciate your kind words. I'm pleased with how the tank is filling out and will be even more excited when I get some discus in there. I'll definately update when I do.

Thanks Steve,

I appreciate the kind words. Keep up the good work in the contest. By the looks of your daily schedule you have your hands full with those guys. They look great, though. We can all learn a lot from you guys.

isn't that a tiny discus in the bottom left corner in the first pic?

It sure is Ricardo. It's a very little, very stunted discus. I bought him already stunted. It was a very cheap price at my lfs and i decided to take him home. Although he is stunted, he is still cute though. He will be moving out of the tank as soon as any adult discus are moved in.

Here is an update as of 11/24/09. I have a pair of discus from Kenny in the 90 gallon, as well as a pair of blue rams, 3 flying fox, 2 longfin albino bristlenose, 2 regular bristlenose, school of rummynose, and a small group of cardinals.

The pair have spawned for the second time in the last couple weeks on an unplugged heater in the corner of the tank. Not sure if I have any interest in trying to raise the fry, although, it is interesting to observe the whole process.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Daniel. I'm hesitant to remove the pair from the show tank to breed them. We'll see if I try to raise some fry down the road.

Thank you, Eddie. If I can keep the huge rummy's away from the fry long enough to raise them, i'll have to get them hooked your killer seafood mix! Hope you have been doing well.

Thank you very much. I probably do need more room, but then again, isn't that how we always feel with this hobby!?

Pretty tank!

Thank you.
