I don't know where this last week went, seems like I was just posting week 3 update. Well, anyway, same consistent routine, beefheart/shrimp morning and night, Hikari pellets at noon water change and flake several times in between. Wipe down all surfaces in the tank every other day.
I had to make more beefheart/shrimp mix. I never make more than I can use up in two months. Fish and other foods have a two to three month storage life in the freezer.
Their water has stayed consistent, 65 microseimens, 30 parts per million, ph 6.5 with 0 nitrites, 0 ammonia and less than 5 ppm nitrates.

Here is a couple artistic shots just to show they are still alive (and growing). :)

The discus look great. Fat and sassy just like juvies should. Looks like they are getting some nice striations on their faces. Keep up the good work.

Hi Chris, there is quite a bit of variation in their color patterns, but the ones that have more color are continually getting more color, striations and spots as they grow. Hard to get one of those lucky shots with all six in a group, they are all over the tank. :)
Thanks for the compliments.

Thank you all for the nice comments. Week four came up quick and I was going to add a video this week. I finally got the video uploaded of the discus eating pellets during a water change. That's their treat for allowing me to mess with their tank. :D They are all between three and one half to four inches. Their sizes are fairly close, they are all bullies at times. :)

That's a funny description "albino sharks" but it is the way they feed, at the surface or at the bottom, very aggressive. :D
Thanks Eddie,

They're all very beautiful, but I especially like the one leading the way in the top picture (he's the one to the far left)

Hi Robin,

I will have to get a good close up of that one this next update. I'm due for update today but got busy and will be gone tomorrow so Thursday it will be. That discus has the most color and the color is developing vertically between the stress bars. Very interesting pattern. Good eye.
I'll see if I can get some better pictures.
