Can somebody tell me what is the proper dose to treat a 55g tank with Prazi Pure (powder form)?

The instructions say 1 gram/ 100 gal.

or method two: dissolve 1/4 tsp. per 40 gallons in very small amount of vodka.

I would like to dissolve in water without using the vodka. Isn't there a 1/4 tsp. per __ gallons for this?

There's 2 concentrations of powder Prazi that I know of. One comes in 100grams, and the other comes in 10 grams, both from Jehmco.

The 100 grams cut is not pure, but the 10 gram is.

From the link Eddie sent me, that person had a 75g tank and he was suppose to use 1/4 tsp. Can I use 1/4 tsp for a 55g without having problems?

I just have a 1/4 tsp. and another one that says "just a pinch" which is a little bit smaller. What do you recommend me, better to use the "just a pinch" tsp. and be safe, or no problem with the 1/4 tsp.

I would dose at the rate of whatever's on the bottle. If you need to, you can use the "crack" method to split the meds up, using glass, a razor, and a dollar bill...

55G is roughly 66% of 75G, so 2/3 of 1/4tsb.

The dose is just as it says on the bottle. 1/4tsp per 40 gals. And the vodka is important as prazi doesn't desolve well in water. If you're treating for flukes I'd suggest doubling the dose, or at least use two level measures using the 1/4tsp (= to 1/2tsp) for a 55gal.
If you're treating tape worms then use as directed.

One more thing. Does Prazi Pure make the fish sensible to light?

Haven't heard that one before, never IME. Only issue that I ever had from using Prazi was some fish went off food during treatment.

Take care,
