won some of this at the NEDA auction today. am i supposed to let it float at the top of the tank or try to plant it in the substrate. the clippings i have do not seem to have much of a root system. any advice?

Hi chandan It was nice meeting you at the meeting. As far as I know we don't have a plant called Rotala Ludwiga. There is a Rotala family of plants like R. Colorata or R. Macrandra and there is a Ludwiga family like L. Arcuta,...
Anyway stem plants usually propogated by trimming so there is no root system. The only things that you need to know is planting them and they will get roots eventually.
