I moved some of the plants around last night and thought I'd share a brief video of the tank.
Moving some of the plants helped open up the tank alot. I just wish they would grow!:o
I've started dosing Excel daily so we'll see.
I apologize for the yellow tint to the water. It has to be the halides, which I thought were 6700K but I'm thinking they sent me something a bit warmer.
I've got two new T5 HO fixtures coming with 10K bulbs and I'm hoping they help bring out a bit more white/blue.
Oh, if I were to add pressurized Co2, should I get two diffusers, one for each side of the overflow box or would one suffice?
Lastly, I received an email from BackyardDiscus stating that my 5 snow whites and 5 blue diamonds came in and all are looking good!:D
Hopefully they'll be ready for shipping in another week or so.

Looking great sean! As far as the diffusers I only have one plumbed inline with a dedicated pump for my 300 gallon tank. The key is distribution. I use a spray bar that sits at the bottom of the tank, hidden, along the entire length. Good distribution and adequate, not excessive, circulation is the key to pressurized c02. :)

Beautiful tank! It will look even better with discus. I agree with Eddie about making some sort of a top though. Discus do love to jump.

Thanks guys. I do have a top. I just took it off for the video. I have made one from window screen but plan on making a nicer one out of a few sections of glass that can be easily removed for maintenance.
Thanks for the input on the Co2 calihawker! I lost out on a local bargain on the Co2 equipment, so I'm back to looking. I'll try just one diffuser and can always add a second if need be.
Andrew from BackYardDiscus left me a message that he hopes to be able to ship my discus next Thursday for Friday arrival. Shipping that close to the weekend scares me a bit cause if the package is delayed, the fish can literally sit all weekend since most carriers won't delivery on Saturday.
I'm going to ask him hold shipment until the following Monday if possible.
Thanks again for the input and kind words on the tank.
