Eggs Question

OK in my main tank i have 7 4 inch discus in a 55 gal BB. I think there about a 1 year old.

Out of the seven i got a pair that laid eggs on a spounge filter last night. The eggs kinda a tan color. She laid them and then he went over like she did. my question is what time frame do they turn red?

they hatch 50 to 60 hours later if they are fertile.

Are you sure they are 4 inches?

They shouldn't turn red. Around the end of the second day they should turn dark if they are fertile. Good luck, and let us know how you get on. :)

Are you sure they are 4 inches?

I guess maybe 5 inches, so is tan a good color?

Thanks! I watched her lay them last night! awsome! Should I move them to another tank? Can I still do water changes?

I do wc's as normal. You could try moving them, but I would leave them be and just see if this batch is fertile.
