Correct Neomycin dosage?

Hi all, Im dosing neomycin and am alittle confused by the directions on the container. It says 1 tsp for 8 gallons, partial water change between redoses. Treat for 3 to 5 days. Is a dose considered once in the 3 to 5 day span or is it a dose every day with a partial wc everyday for a total of 3 to 5 doses (3 to 5 days)?
