want to kill snail eggs from java fern

i have some java fern which i need to put into a new tank but do not want to transfer all the snails and eggs along with it. how do i disinfect the fern without killing it?

Aluminum sulfate or a bleach dip. Google plant dips and see what the recommended concentrations are for each. I think bleach dips are fine for java ferns but they can be pretty hard on some plants. You will need to rinse thoroughly if you choose to use a bleach dip. Aluminum sulfate is the way to go however as it will take care of both the snails and the snail eggs.
