Congrats on the confirmation and wiggler stage spawn! That's what Han's fish are supposed to do.... breed. LOL! That's why they cost so much! LOL! :p

Great job!

Best wishes!

Thanks everyone. As far as Stendkers go these are not that large. They are about average in size.

kirkp as far as the parameters go all that I can tell you is wet and warm....Not being a smart arse but I do not use test kits, I don't even own a test kit. The fish will tell me everything about my water that I need to know. In this case they had about 250 fertile eggs, they did their jobs correctly, but I only got about 75 wigglers. The reason for this is my water is a little to hard. I need to go with about 50/50 RO/tap. I know this from experience but I have not gotten a new RO membrane yet. Archery season for deer starts on Saturday so my middle daughter will be taking care of my fish house for a week or so. I really did not care if the fish spawned now or not. When I return I will adjust the water. The vast majority of people would be better off if they simply kept their water clean and completely forgot to worry about parameters.

John - EXACTLY!!!! That's how I feel about water parameters too. People always thought of me crazy for not owning a test kit as I simply just look and observe.

same here fellas, only time I find myself testing is when Im cycling a tank. other than that I just let the fish tell me how they feel. ontop of daily to every other day large WCs. just gotta keep it clean and warm like john said. I feel like some people dilly dally too much with KH GH, trying to adjust PH, adding things to the water, and so on...if you have good water and good fish, just do the dammy ;):D

awesome turks. cant wait to see the fry. I have been becoming more and more into Stendkers....Iv said it once, Iv said it 10000 times...I gotta make a trip to Hans's! :D

I can still snore on a plane!!!!

Maybe a RV instead of a van....

Congratulations. They are a nice pair, off course now you have your work cut out for a while. Good luck with them,

Thanks again everyone.

MKV as small as this spawn is it will not be a problem to raise. It is when you have 300+ in the spawn and all your other tanks are full that it becomes a problem...LOL.
