Breeder Selling Out - Arlington, TX

Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've found this on craigs list. It Seem that a home breeder is selling all of his discus due to health reason and he didn't have the strain that I wanted so just wanted to pass this along to other who may be interested.

just called him said he had about 40-60 discus and a couple of proven breeding pairs.
edit: he also had a couple of tanks, if I remember right he said he would sell a 55 gallon iron stand with a 55 and 40 long aquarium with lights and sponge filters for $200.00

hell yeah I am, you know I couldn't give up my favorite fish.
i'm going to be in the gp/arlington area today. I could call him and go look at them. what did you want to know about the fish, he is a breeder, had them scence they where tiny and grow up they are german strekler(spelling?) discus.
my friend ron greteman got a couple from the guy and said they are really nice fish no culls, no stund discus. all in good health and everything.

Just went to see him today. Very nice man, he said he's a member of the forum, but rarely visit the forum. He has about 30-40 turquoise left, sizes range from 4" - 6". He have 1 or 2 turquoise about 6.5"-7" and one 6"-7" pigeon blood. He also have 2 proven breeding pairs, side of the pairs are little small but prolific breeder. He invited me over to take a look even though I've told him over the phone that I'm only looking for smaller size.

I talked to the guy this weekend, said he is a member here but hardly gets on here, and all the smalls have been sold. he only has med, med-large,large, and pairs.

I got 5 from him and they are very nice healthy Discus. I also got several breeder tanks from him for a very reasonable price.

I've been emailing the person who is tryin to sell them, but he or she basically keeps giving me the run around. They told me they were only available weekdays between the hours of 6-7pm :confused:...

those are domiroes discus, he lives down the road from me in plano.
he has a wide range on the price of discus 20-80 bucks one fish could be 20 and another 80 that's the same size. the other add in plano is mine.

yeah they kind of gave me run around too. plus the guys discus are all different prices, even if they are the same size. he has like 20-40 in a 75 gallon with gravel, some siameese algae eaters and cory catfish..

local places that sell sterkler discus are the fish gallery, and boutiqe pet shop.
um then there is aquantic wonderland not sure where he gets his discus,
and mike at usa aquarium trading. <------ good place to buy air pumps, heaters,sponge filters, blood worms, etc.
