We decided to redo the tank and let our breeding whites grow up a bit, so I went to see a buddy of mine who breeds all sorts of fish and deals in plants, walked away with some beautiful plants that will work well in my tank, we are also painting the back outside of tank tonite a seafoam blue color to brighten it up. WIll post pics tommorrow.
While down there decided to get some long find white BN plecos, dude had tons of babies and the parents are about 4" long and beautiful finnage.
Also he had a breeding pair of discus, PB looked like, the male was, and I am not exhagerating, 10" - he was the BIGGEST discus ive ever seen, looked like a dinner plate, was about 2inches thick. Gonna try to get one or two of his offspring when they are ready in a couple months. He was CRAZY HUGE.
Will post pics tommorrow, just reaquascaped with all the plants he gave me and doing a 90% WC now.... then tank painting time... Woo hoo!
Just wanted to share LOL

Here are some better pics....
Please keep in mind water is not fully settled and the discus are freaking out cause of all the changes to thier tank lol - they have been hiding alot, but do come out from time to time, we had company today so they stayed hidden, they should be fine in a couple days after they adjust to it, its like a new tank for them - also keep in mind we bought smaller plants to allow them to fill in, we chose plants that work well at 1w/gal or so cause, well thats what we have lol
We really like the new layout and hope our discus do also once they adjust to it.
