Interesting...but how does the computer know that when you place a mug in front of it that you want to find a coffee shop and not where to buy mugs? In some ways this technology could be handy but in others it could be very frustrating as the digital world trys to read your thoughts.

The computer knows only what the programmer tells it. If the programmer wanted the computer to search for used cars for sale, jobs, airplane tickets, etc. whenever a coffee cup were placed in front of it that could have been specified just as easily, however that wouldn't make sense to most people. Looking for coffee mugs makes sense, but they are probably thinking that looking for coffee shops makes MORE sense, therefore they specified that the computer should search for coffee shops and not mugs.
