View Full Version : Who sells Heckels?

I'm becoming more and more fascinated by wilds; especially, displaying the prominent fifth bar. It appears that there are a variety of color options, but I would be most intrested in a body color that is green, brown or red with the black finage...if that's possible.

Any ideas? I'm in no rush to purchase, but would appreciate any leads.

I got my Heckels from Discus Hans (http://discushans.wordpress.com/) . I think he just got some more in today!! The best part is he is right down in Baltimore, MD I'm in York Pa believe me it's worth an hour drive to go pick your fish yourself. I highly recommend Hans he's a quality guy with great fish!

I think Hans had some, but I am not sure of his current stock. I hear that he is getting in some more wilds this morning.

Thanks John... Quang (DiscusFreakaZoid) and I might be making a trip to see Hans very soon to check things out. We're both interested in his X-mas Special and the wilds are an extra bonus!

If at all possible do it. I have been there twice now. The second time we drove so that we could bring fish back. 21 hours one way and worth every minute of it.

Agreed...and here I've been reluctant to do a two hour drive. Now I feel bad! ;)

if you are looking for wilds, I'd get them from Hans. He had some fantastic stock last time he received a shipment.

Dave put them on your shopping list, I got 20 nice ones in. They are in Q. now have to do poo samples under the microscope to see if they are clean, if so they have to eat my mix before they can go,

Thanks Hans... I talked to Quang about making a trip. He's checking with his bud and we'll get something scheduled. How long do you anticipate Q taking?

No idea yet, they look clean but have to jump on the food before they can go.
