Hi Everyone,

My mate just sent me a link to check out two vids he uploaded to youtube and while I was watching I knew, that the next thing I'd be doing is exactly what I am doing now.

This link shows the previous stage of the tank, but be sure to check out the other video, because that's a real gobsmacker in HD.:

Wow - that other tank is just perfect!

Does that tank get CO2? How did you acheive such a lush DHG carpet?

Love it!!!!!!!

Thanks, everyone!
I am trying to persuade the owner to come around and give a first-hand intro of the set-up, hope it doesn't take too long!

First of all I would like to thank for Nandi presenting my tank here, and of course the many great comments.

I started to building the tank around 8 months ago. In the beginning (first 3 months) I had many problems with it, like algae boom, green water, filtration problems, etc., but from the fourth months the tank started to work, and the plants started to grow.

Parameters:
1000 liter, with 300 liter filter tank.
PH 6, TDS 60
I have T5 lightning with 400W, but I use only 160 W, because with more light I had algae problems.
I use Co2 in the tank, and once a week small amount fertilization.

I'm not sure but I think the ancestry Alenquer, Rio Nhamunda, Rio Madeira, around generation F5. My friend breeds them in Hungary, he call them Red Eddy, Red Silk, Indian Summer.

The music under the video is Sarah Brightman: La Luna :)
