Hi Simply friends,

Just wanted to share my blue snake skins juvies which I've gotten from TCT, here on Simply. I have acquired them at 2" in late September 2009. So I would guest they are about 6 months old. Still lots of growing left to go. I've never had discus that grow this fast before.

Regards
Tony Nguyen

this one is about 4.5"-5" TL

Look red to me.

probably because I've been feeding them BH mix which contained astaxathin.

Look red to me.

Me too. You can't turn a blue snake red by feeding it astaxanthin. Either way, they are gorgeous SS's.

IMO, must be in the food he feed them, cause I have 4 left of this batch and they're have a lot of greenish base on them. I feeding them FBW, ON flakes and Tetra bits.

Hi Jim,

Very nice, nice shape and color is very strong. Is it a 9 bars or 14 bars? If it's 14 bars then it will be SS and if it's 9 bars it will be a brilliant.

He was one of the 9 bar juvies TcT had, and was showing really nice color and pattern. I look forward to seeing him grow out.

Thanks,
