Meet Daisy, our new addition

Daisy is 8 weeks old and she is a Miniature Doberman Pinscher. I got her for the family and they have all fallen in love with her. This is my first attempt at keeping a dog indoors, i've always kept all my pitbulls outdoors. without further ado, here are the pics:

that's what my daughter said. she said she was so cute and if i could buy her, she's 4 months from being 3 yrs old :D

I'm starting to see that now. we shall see how she picks up her training. so far she has been doing well with crate training.

you mean a miniature pinscher? they arent related to a doberman. they were around before dobermans. pinscher means terrier..and zwerg means miniature. zwergpinscher. make sure shes well socialized..with people. they dont take well to strangers otherwise.and dont attempt the nails yourself..they get to dislike it ifyour unsure of yourself. most minpins hate their nails done.
oh..hes cute.

Yeah i realized that after some research. I always knew it as a "miniature doberman pinscher" and i guess it just stuck. I was however aware that they are terriers which is why i ended up getting one. Me having always had pitbulls i needed a small dog that could keep up with the training that i have given them, which so far she is taking to quite well. she has plenty of people to socialize with fortunately since i have so many people come by the house so often for pay-per-view fights, poker, etc., so she has been fine with the people that have came over so far. i read about the clipping of the nails and i have full faith that i can do them since i use to do all my dogs nails before. the only thing i read is that theirs has to be trimmed more often, i'm guessing that is from them being an indoor dog as oppose to my previous dogs which filed down their nails when they were on cement. All in all i'm really loving this little pup, she is super energetic and she is pretty obedient. I will follow up in a few months with pics :D
