Hi, I need some help/information.

I fell out of my work truck (Semi tractor) today and hurt my lower back and legs. I will probably miss a week or more. I told my employer and went to the Urgency care clinic ( Kaiser Permanente).

The doctor said nothing definative but that nothing was broken.

My question is this, Will I get paid by Workers compensation if I'm off for a period of time and the doctor agrees with me and writes all of the proper paperwork? If so how long do I have to wait? Can L & I deny me benefits?

Any answers about my situation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks ahead of time, Dave

....and just a couple of weeks and I can send Kennys discus 2-3 hundred dollars for fish for my new tank. It's been 4 years since any Discus and I'm pretty stoked about it!

Backs are very tricky, I had issues. Never get much definitive info about what the exact cause is! You may get better from a specialist. It's all about pain really. Which prevents you from range of motion or much motion at all. All the people I know with Back issues end up on lots of Pain Pills, be cautious! They are highly addictive and terrible on the human body long term, toxic.

I would push hard, perhaps a lawyer if necessary with your Employer and disability. It may be 'backpay' and it may be awhile, I cannot say for your particulars. SOME pay you up front for settlements that look positive, but at a loss.

Good luck and hope the Discus comfort you, they have helped me when I have been in some dire straits
