Now that is a discus tank! Wish I had one that big. Good luck with it all and show us more pictures when you can. How many discus do you plan to keep later on and what kinds?

I checked the whole process, good job cleaning it up. That must have been fun, lol, but the end result is nice!

I bought a 180 crapped up old salt set up similar to yours this is a really good inspiration thanks. I like your DIY filter as well. I've been playing around with media ideas and was thinking reg. sponges, but like your pot scrubbers a lot better

I will post some updated pictures this up coming week. I got all my lighting and reef keeper controller in and got it all hooked up just need to tidy up the wiring and make it look pretty.

There will be a massive plant order soon for all kinds of anubias, swords, and other random plants i have sitting throughout all the tanks at my house.

Between 10 Julii Cories a Yoyo loach and Histronica loach. Oh and about 6 SAE's and 10 Ottos, the sand stays fairly well cleaned. The UGJ systems work quite well at keeping food and detritus suspended in the water column to be taken up by the filters.

Discus im fairly picky on and most say im bland but i love the solid color discus. So red melons, blue cobalts, blue diamonds, bout the only ones i like with pattern are some of the wild variants that are more of a brown color like the heckel's
