Nice fish. Good luck with the breeding. Looks like you took that picture mid bow. What strain is the one on the right?

Thanks. The one on the right is an Albino Turq.

I got them from a really good guy on Aquabid, Discman, his name is Mike. He packed them up really well and got them to me same day via Southwest.

Hello,
It must be Mike Misuraco. He is also a member of this forum. I've done business with him in the past, very nice and honest guy. I believe his user name is Midwest discus.
Seemed to be a very nice pair.Good luck with your breeding program.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice pair and you got them from a great guy who I have bought several pairs from in the past. Midwest Discus is a sponsor on Simply and Im confident in saying that they should be breeding for you in no time.

How big and old is the Albino Turq? I have a group of them from Mike but they haven't started showing any color in the fins and head like yours have. Nice to see where I am headed with them.

I am not sure on the age but the Albino Turq is about 6".

UPDATE....So today marks the one week aniversary with this new pair. I came home from work today and guess what????? Sure enough they laid about 60+ eggs. WOW, I am so excited. I have another pair, a red turq and a blue turq really cleaning off their cone, so I am thinking they are getting ready as well.

That is exciting, it's wondrous to watch them spawn and raise the fry. Take a lot of pics for us when you get wrigglers! Nice looking pair.
