acclimating discus

Hey guys, I have 7 adult discus, that I have had for nearly a year and a half now. They are currently in a BB tank with just natural light from very large windows and a lamp. I am planning to soon switch them over to a planted tank(120 gallon extra high) with 4x80 watt t5 HO lights. I am afraid this is going to freak them out. Any tips or simillar experiences?

Are you able to swith on pairs of bulbs or is it one switch for all 4 bulbs? Also, what color temperature are the bulbs?

I will be able to switch between two bulbs at a time, the light spectrum will be two 6500 k bulbs and two 10,000 k bulbs.
